Both exports and imports declined in August 2020, but the surplus on goods remained. 

  • trade surplus of $4,294m

Note this is preliminary data and subject to revision.

Year-on-year exports in August 2020 declined $5,545m (-16%) 

  • Year-on-year imports declined by $1,859m (-7%)
